Senior Construction Project Manager – Consultancy

This consultancy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their London team to work on a range of projects that include commercial new builds & refurbs, high-end residential, mix-use, hotels, leisure, health, education and film studios.

Location: London (EC1)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (car allowance, pension, health, and other benefits)

About the company:

The company is a well-respected construction consultancy who work on a range of commercial, high-end residential, leisure and hospitality, education, and health projects. They offer their clients project management, cost management, and building surveying services. Their Project Management team is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in London and work on a range of projects.

About the Senior Project Manager opportunity:

You will work with their Project Management team in London and report back to the overall Project Director. This is a client-facing role that requires you to have excellent communication and client-facing skills. You will need a solid understanding of Construction Project Management able to run your own projects with at least 6 – 10 years’ experience across a few sectors with good contract administration experience.

The team is made up of 20 staff. 10 Building Surveyors who take control of smaller projects ranging in value from £100k – £3m, and 10 – 15 Project Managers who look after larger projects from £10m – £100m. You will be working on a range of these larger projects.

This vacancy will suit an ambitious individual as there is plenty of room for the right project manager to progress within the organisation.

Requirements for the Senior Project Manager:

• Member of the RICS, MCIOB or MAPM is not essential but an advantage
• Solid Construction Project Manager ideally in a UK consultancy with experience working on a range of different sector projects
• Client facing, excellent communication/negotiation skills, ambitious and diligent
